Founded in 2016, Mamasita was born from our years spent living in Mexico and from the food we came to miss deeply once we moved to Asia. After more than a decade across different parts of Mexico, the craving for those real flavors stayed with us. Fresh tacos, proper burritos, sizzling fajitas, homemade salsas, tasty vegetarian dishes, and margaritas mixed with the balance and care they deserve. Unable to find that kind of honest Mexican food in Phuket, we decided to create it ourselves.

At Mamasita, we believe in cooking that keeps Mexican food the way it should be: fresh, colorful, full of flavor, and made with quality ingredients. We source locally whenever possible and import only the essentials where they truly matter. If it is not something we would gladly serve on our own family table, it does not make it onto our menu.

Over the years, Mamasita has grown into one of those relaxed, familiar places guests enjoy coming back to, whether they discover us on holiday or have been sharing our tables with family and friends for years. We keep our prices fair, our atmosphere easy and welcoming, and stay true to the spirit of Mi Casa es su Casa.
